McCreery Jordan is an American artist known for her lyrical art.
Raised in Ohio around the Great Lakes, McCreery has traveled and created art around the world. Jordan resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico since 1993. She finds particular inspiration in the Santa Fe skies. “Capturing the intense blues and the “dome of the sky” is what I strive for. They are a success when I conjure in the viewer the awe I feel when I gaze up and get lost in them.”
She approaches her large scape paintings using techniques acquired from her uncle who was a billboard painter.
Jordan has had many solo exhibitions, is the recipient of numerous awards, as well as belonging to many public collections.
