Louis Kley was born in Sens, France, and studied sculpture in Paris. He was well-known during his lifetime. Louis Kley (1833-1911) The French artist became famous for creating several Art Nouveau sculptures. He executed sculptures of children as well as sculptures of animals and mythology themes.
Kley spent most of his life in Paris where he attended classes by J. M. Lequien. Kley created many sculptures, medallions, portraits and monuments. Kley regularly took part in the annual Salon in Paris.
