Eugene Kalinowski exhibited with the Associates Artists Pittsburgh: he won second prize for sculpture, 1958, jury award for distinguished painting, 1960 & award for distinguished work in watercolor, 1961; Pittsburgh Playhouse Show, 1960 (prize); Inst. Contemporary Art, Boston, 1962; Albright-Knox Art Gal., Buffalo, NY, 1962; Butler Institute of American Art, Youngstown, OH; Carnegie Inst.; Slippery Rock State College, PA, 1966 solo exhibition.

He was a member of Associates Artists Pittsburgh (bd. dirs., 1962-64); Pittsburgh Watercolor Society, Society of Sculptors; Pittsburgh Plan for Art; Centro Studi e Scambi International Rome.
 
He was an instructor of painting & drawing, Pittsburgh Public School System; instructor Arts & Crafts Center, Pittsburgh, 1968.
 
He died in Polish Hill Pennsylvania in 2014.
