Eleanore Kaufmann Johnson Driskell was born in Canton, Ohio in 1902. She painted in the Columbus, Ohio area and owned a gallery there called the Driskell-Hoogkirk Studio in the early 1940s. She exhibited at Macbeth Gallery in New York in 1938, in a show featuring other Ohio artists, including Clyde Singer. She also exhibited at the Cincinnati Art Museum. Driskell is mentioned in a 1942 book on notable Ohio artists.
