Dmitry Polarouche was born in Kharkov, Ukraine and studied at the Kharkov Art College where he received a degree as a Fine Arts Teacher. From 1986 to 1992 Dmitry studied at the St. Petersburg State Academy of Art and Design in the mural painting department. While studying in St. Petersburg he experimented in techniques such as fresco, mosaics, tempera, colored cement, and stained glass windows. Dmitryʼs paintings have been exhibited all over the world in London, Moscow, Helsinki, Geneva, Odense, Miami, and Los Angeles. His paintings can also be seen in the Contemporary Art Collection of the Vatican Museums.
